Arriving from the direction of Karlsruhe/Stuttgart/Augsburg:
- On the A8 Stuttgart-Munich motorway, follow the München signs
to the end of the motorway in Obermenzing.
- Go around the traffic island and follow the signs into Verdistrasse;
continue along this road until after it has crossed the bridge
over the Nymphenburg Castle canal. At the next major junction
(Romanplatz) follow the road (left, south-eastwards) into Arnulfstrasse
and along this road until the Mittlerer Ring overpass.
- Turn left (north) to join the Mittlerer Ring. After a short
distance, exit the Ring to the right (do not enter the tunnel)
following the signs for Zentrum/Neuhausen and turn right (east)
into Nymphenburger Strasse.
- Follow Nymphenburger Strasse towards the city centre and turn
left into Erzgießereistrasse following the sign on the left for
the “Polizei”.
Arriving from the direction of Nürnberg/Regensburg/Deggendorf:
- On the A9 Nürnberg-Munich motorway follow the signs to München
Schwabing Nord.
- Turn off here to the right to join the Mittlerer Ring going
in the direction of Lindau/ Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
- Leave the Mittlerer Ring (Landshuter Allee) following the signs
for Zentrum/Neuhausen (do not enter the tunnel, but stay on the
right). Turn into the Nymphenburger Strasse (left, eastwards)
in the direction of the city centre.
- Follow Nymphenburger Strasse towards the city centre and turn
left into Erzgießereistrasse following the sign on the left for
the “Polizei”.
Arriving from the direction of Passau:
- On the A94 Passau-Munich motorway follow the signs to the end
of the motorway in München Bogenhausen.
- Join the Mittlerer Ring going north (in the direction of Nürnberg/Flughafen-München/Stuttgart/Lindau)
and stay on the Mittlerer Ring around the north of the city and
past the tower and the Olympic stadium on your left, following
the signs for Lindau/Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
- Leave the Mittlerer Ring (Landshuter Allee) following the signs
for Zentrum/Neuhausen (do not enter the tunnel, but stay on the
right). Turn into the Nymphenburger Strasse (left, eastwards)
in the direction of the city centre.
- Follow Nymphenburger Strasse towards the city centre and turn
left into Erzgießereistrasse following the sign on the left for
the “Polizei”.
Arriving from the direction of Switzerland/Lindau/Bodensee:
- On the A96 Lindau-Munich motorway, follow the signs to München
Sendling and leave to the left (north) following the Mittlerer
Ring in the direction of Nürnberg/Flughafen-München.
- After the Mittlerer Ring crosses over the railway lines, leave
the Ring following the signs for Zentrum/Neuhausen (do not enter
the tunnel, but stay on the right). Turn into the Nymphenburger
Strasse (right, eastwards) in the direction of the city centre.
- Follow Nymphenburger Strasse towards the city centre and turn
left into Erzgießerei-strasse following the sign on the left for
the “Polizei”.
Arriving from the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen:
- On the A95 Garmisch-Partenkirchen-Munich motorway, follow the
signs to München Sendling Süd and leave to the left (north) following
the Mittlerer Ring in the direction of Nürnberg/Flughafen-München.
- After the Mittlerer Ring crosses over the railway lines, leave
the Ring following the signs for Zentrum/Neuhausen (do not enter
the tunnel, but stay on the right). Turn into the Nymphenburger
Strasse (right, eastwards) in the direction of the city centre.
- Follow Nymphenburger Strasse towards the city centre and turn
left into Erzgießereistrasse following the sign on the left for
the “Polizei”.
Arriving from the direction of Salzburg/Innsbruck/Italy/Austria:
- On the A8 Salzburg-Munich motorway, follow the München signs
to the end of the motorway in München Ramersdorf and turn to the
left following the signs for Stuttgart / Mittlerer Ring West.
- Stay on the Mittlerer Ring until after the Mittlerer Ring (Landshuter
Allee) crosses over the main railway lines, and then leave the
Ring following the signs for Zentrum/Neuhausen (do not enter the
tunnel, but stay on the right). Turn into the Nymphenburger Strasse
(right, eastwards) in the direction of the city centre.
- Follow Nymphenburger Strasse towards the city centre and turn
left into Erzgießereistrasse following the sign on the left for
the “Polizei”.
